About this apartment rental
The perfect place for your vacation! Very well maintained 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom condo with views of the pool. The unit is conveniently located steps from the elevator and steps to the beach. Sit in privacy on the secluded screened in porch surrounded by the ocean dunes covered by maritime forest and listen to the waves as you enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a cold beverage in the evening! The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second a queen size and the third a pyramid bunk bed (full on bottom and twin on top) with a twin trundle for extra sleeping room. There is also a pack n play available for our smallest visitors. Each bedroom and the den have flat screen TVs. The unit comes equipped with keyless entry so you have no worries of keeping up with a key on the beach.
The complex has 3 outdoor pools (one junior Olympic) and kiddie pools at each location with plenty of lounge chairs. Grills can be found at each building to cook your perfect steak. Each beach access (there are 2) have a covered pavilion at the end with benches to enjoy the ocean view. There is a sound side pier to fish or crab or to launch your kayak or paddle board. For the athlete, there are 6 tennis courts and areas to walk or run along W Fort Macon Rd.
The oceanfront complex is conveniently located in Atlantic Beach within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, shopping and even a craft beer growler store.
The unit is non-smoking and no pets are allowed.

Very nice condo on the first floor. Short walk to the beach. Communication with the host was fast and easy. Beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards) in the room and available to use.

This condo had everything we needed and wanted except the view. We’ve stayed at the Island Beach & Racket Club 4 years in a row and this was the best unit yet. Closest unit to the steps, pool, and boardwalk to the beach we’ve ever had, the only thing lacking was a view of the beach from the unit & a working elevator. The unit had one of the largest balconies of any unit we’ve previously stayed in, was well decorated, but we wish was setup a bit better for Relaxing in front of the TV for late family movies. The staff was friendly and courteous, and wanted to ensure our stay was good. The unit had a great washer and dryer that was full-size enabling us to keep things clean without creating a workout due to its full size capacity and working condition. The price was a little high especially lacking the view, but made up for it some with its location. The unit has a well stocked kitchen also that will likely need some attention soon, as the doors and drawers are showing signs of significant wear but had everything we needed for the week and then some. While we were on sight a storm took out the elevator so being on the 1st floor was a blessing. In general this is also the only beach we’ve ever been to where we felt we could setup up our stuff and leave it without having to worry about someone bothering with our belongings, everyone we met was friendly and the location was centrally located for all of the area things we wanted to do. We’d stay again and go back today if we could.

I would recommend this condo for a beach stay. The unit is a very short walk to the Atlantic Beach which is delightful. This beach with clear water and soft sand is incredibly clean. I will return to this beach. The area is a short drive to some great restaurants. The condo is decorated nicely and the owners are quick to respond with concerns. My only hesitation with the property is the internet is very slow and at times, did not work at all.

The Shepherds were great. The condo had plenty of room and the short walk to the beach made life easy for out little ones. We couldn’t have been happier!!
