If you are looking for peace and quiet, on a gorgeous tranquil lake, then you have found your home! Sundog Lake Cottage can sleep up to 7 people with two bedrooms and loft area. A fully stocked kitchen will make you feel right at home. The walk-out basement allows easy access to the lake and yard. Lots of green grass for running and playing games or just enjoying the sunshine. Open concept living area has great lake views from every window, but why enjoy the serenity from inside…take your morning coffee on the deck and watch for the resident bald eagles. In the evening, enjoy your dinner at the picnic table with the loons providing the dining entertainment!
Guests get to enjoy the propane grill, fire pit, Jon Boat, and two kayaks, outdoor games while staying here. For rainy days, there are many board games, books and movies for guest to enjoy. Sundog Lake Cottage also comes with a washer/dryer, air conditioning unit in the loft area, fans and a private dock.

The log home was a great VRBO find and the owner was very easy and helpful to work with. The home was very clean and the views were amazing overlooking the lake. The fishing was pretty decent as well once you know where to fish. Mostly bass and bluegill lake with a few perch. We saw lots of wildlife and even heard the wolves howling and saw moose tracks on some of the two-tracks.
There was plenty of dishware, the beds were comfy and roomy, the outdoor furniture was comfy as well. The check in and check out was super easy. I promise you wont be disappointed with this home if you like the outdoors and like to panfish.

The property was secluded and peaceful. Fishing was great from right off the dock. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Sundog Lake. The weather was less than perfect, so it was great to have plenty of indoor space to hang out. We watched a bunch of movies, played a ton of cards, enjoyed the board games, and read a lot. The lake was super quiet, I’m guessing due to the weather. We never saw another boat or kayak out all week! Perfect for our own little kayak trips between raindrops. We also took shot day trips to Munising and Marquette. The cabin had all we needed to be more than comfortable and we appreciated the personal touches.

What a wonderful place to get away to. It has all the comforts and amenities of home with a beautiful view every morning and night. Lots of wildlife - deer, bald eagles, loons, sandhills, porcupine and many species of birds. And, fishing was GREAT! Thank you, Kristin
