This fourth-floor oceanfront condo gives off all the beachy vibes with its fun décor and furnishings. The condo sleeps six and has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The living room has a large leather sectional, beachy blue carpeting and views out the sliding door of the ocean and attached balcony. The cozy kitchen has all major appliances and white cabinets plus seating at the counter and at the dining table. The master bedroom has beautiful blue and white linens on its king-sized bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom is perfect for your little ones and has two twin beds. The place was very clean. It was great watching the snow coming in off the ocean. For a weekend getaway, the kitchen was well equipped. The location was awesome!

Overall, this property does what it needs to. The good: The location is fantastic. The property management team is extremely responsive and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The listing does not mention that there are beach chairs, an umbrella, beach toys in the closet. This was a nice surprise. Random, but the refrigerator ice machine was also super fast and nice to have. The not so good: The unit itself is extremely dated. Fixtures are rusting or discolored. The bedroom windows do not open. For the most part it’s clean, but things like dust and dirt caking the bathroom fan, hairs in the jets of the tub, and windows you could barely see out of were disappointing. Especially for how much we paid. Some of the towels provided had stains. The hallways of the condo building are musty and the pool and its chairs were just fine. Floating in the lazy river and having bugs and bandaids floating past you isn’t the most relaxing experience. North Myrtle used to be a quaint, family friendly alternative to Myrtle beach, but since the last time we were here, the Main Street has declined and we really didn’t appreciate airplane ads for strip clubs flying by while we were on the beach with our young family.Like I said, overall we needed a place to stay for our family vacation and this had comfortable beds and was right on the ocean. But will we come back again? Eh.
