The building is classically beautiful and in an ideal location. Our studio apartment had a small kitchenette, comfortable furniture and a nice size balcony overlooking the street
Shortly before check-in we were told that we were being given a different room than we reserved “out of an excess of caution” because there had been a plumbing issue that had already been fixed. That may be true but feels like a bait and switch.
Either way, we were told the building is 100 years old and has plumbing “issues”
Also, the chairs on the balcony were cheap old camp chairs and someone had left a soda can in an armhole that evaded disposal when the room was cleaned
