Nice appartement for 2-4 persons, ok in wintertime and especially suitable for summertime.

The location is remote yet not too far from shops and the like, if you go by car. The location has a countryside feel, a bit barren in wintertime, probably lovely in summertime. There is a nice balcony which we didn't use, since it was wintertime. The appartement has two good beds upstairs, which is an open concept loft. Downstairs there are 2 couches, which are sofa beds, good to sleep on.

With strong winds outside, it is noisy inside. The lighting downstairs is a bit on the dark side. The cooker hood lacks capacity.

Only from my personal point, the bed was too soft but this was a minor inconvenience when compared to the location and the facilities.

Great base for a visit to Keukenhof

Perfect location for visiting the Keukenhof flower gardens; good communal areas for self-catering; friendly and helpful hosts.

It's a bit of a remote location so is best if you have a car - we didn't and utilised taxis and uber (which was fine, just requires a level of planning and cost to factor in).

Quiet, comfortable apartment just outside Sassenheim with nice canal views

The view from my apartment was very nice - lots of boats passing by but also not a lot of noise. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable. Beds very comfortable.

Very enjoyable, fabulous location, great facilities, very friendly and helpful staff.

I did not take breakfast but the location was just fabulous. Near to work for me but still out in the country surround by fields and dykes. I especially liked the in room cooking facilities and fridge which allowed cooking of meals and stock up at the supermarket. The large breakfast room with microwave, fridge and feezer also gave even more options for the self catering stay.

I was a little surprised being presented with beautifully clean and pressed bedding in a plastic bag which you were then expected to make up your self. Perhaps this is normal practice but it did surprise me. No big deal, just worth a small mention. The room walls are on the thin side and neighbours conversations could be clearly heard.

Had to make our own beds when we arrived - clean laundry was provided . I would’ve liked a microwave in the room but the communal room was very nice

Great place to stay!

We stayed in a superior apartment which had plenty of space for our family and an outdoor terrace. The apartment was super clean and comfortable and the owners were friendly and helpful. Highlight of the trip for us was hiring a boat from the owners - we had a great day exploring the waterways. Really recommend doing this. You can also hire bikes. Location is perfect for visiting tulip fields and Keukenhof. Amsterdam, Schiphol, The Hague etc are also within easy driving distance. Sassenheim is nearby (5 mins drive/10 mins cycle/30 mins walk) and has supermarkets, cafes etc.

Kitchen could have a few more utensils/pans. You can hear the neighbouring apartment sometimes. This wasn't a big issue though.

Although the location is very beatiful, it is quite noisy because of the planes taking off from schiphol. In addition, ther is no cafe, restaurant or even small grocery store in a walking distance

The owner asked me to pay a security deposit, and upon leaving, he deducted 60 euros for illogical reasons. Unfortunately, an experience I will not repeat.

A great stay in Lisse

This was a great base for us cycling around the tulip fields. The owners rented us e-bikes for the duration of our stay which were really handy as we didn’t have a car. They also picked us up from the train station which was much appreciated. Our room had everything we needed.

It was a challenge for us getting our heavy bags up quite steep stairs. Our fault for packing so much. We had one rough night when some other guests used the shared kitchen room very loudly until the early hours of the morning despite there being clear signage to be quiet after 10am. Without management on site the people continued unfortunately.

Perfect apartment in a tulips kingdom

The comfortable apartment for four people - fully-equipped private kitchen, a big table, a bathroom, one double bed, and two single beds. You can rent bikes in place. Big private parking. Good Wi-Fi. The apartment is located on a floor (accessible only by stairs). It wasn't an issue for us but good to know. Perfect location if you'd like to visit Keukenhof, tulip fields, or Leiden. All are available by bike in 20-30 minutes.

You have to get used to the sound of planes flying over (Schiphol airport is located 20 km away)

Great stay with the most comfortable beds, Leiden, the beach nearby by car or bike.

Spotless apartment, extremely comfortable beds, laundry facilities available for free, nice common room. Great to have a ceiling fan plus air conditioning.

Location is slightly off the beaten track but still accessible to reach interesting locations by car.

Competitive access to the only socket (220v) to charge a car. Floor on terrace needs some care, I was afraid of barefoot.

Great little flat overlooking the canal. Well thought out and very clean. Lovely walk to a nearby windmill and only a few km from the Keukenhof gardens.

Peace and beauty.

The peaceful surroundings. The personalized treatment. The rental bikes were comfortable and in perfect working order. The owner had excellent suggestions for day activities and bike tours.

The fact I didn't notice I could had call them to pick me up at train station, that is MY FAULT.
