Great location and perfect sized place with everything we needed.

The position of the property is fantastic, nicely in the town centre for immediate access to all it offers, but situated at one end and elevated so it feels calm and serene when you're inside. The kitchen / sitting room is light and airy and a relaxing space to be in and the springy chairs are great to kick back in after a busy day. The whole place felt cute, characterful, and clean. We also liked the family pics that showed this isn't 'just' a holiday home, but somewhere that some lucky family have been enjoying for a generation or more. Having a bakery opposite and a variety of pubs and bars to choose from for meals and drinks was very nice.

Not actually a problem for us and in fact our stairs at home are steep and winding, but the steps are steep and that could be a problem for people with limited mobility.

Its central location in the heart of Salcombe. The quirky layout added to the charm of the property. All that’s needed for a home from home staycation.

Some minor maintenance would benefit the property. And perhaps adding that property is down the step by the Fortescue pub on your right as you proceed down Buckley Street.

The property was central to Salcombe. It had a sea view. It was cheaper than lots of Salcombe properties. It had kitchen facilities.

Lots of steps to get to the property and steep internal stairs. Wash room was narrow. Bed was standard double with v little space to get in & out. Lots of cheap little lamps that didn’t work. Main living room lamp didn’t work. Kitchen was disorganised and cooker had not been cleaned however we chose not to cook.
