Lilac Cottage

Tolle zentrale Lage, hundefreundlich, sicher eingezäunter Garten mit Gartenbank und Gartentisch. Zwei gute Restaurants mit Außenbereich in weniger als hundert Metern vom Haus. Schöne Wanderwege durch das Tal oder über die Klippen. Der Strand ist in ca. 20 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Lärmbelästigung durch die Straße ist wegen der doppelten Fenster sehr gering. Eine Parkmöglichkeit haben wir, trotz Hauptsaison, innerhalb von 50 Metern gefunden (Spiegel einklappen).

Die Straße durch den Ort grenzt unmittelbar ans Haus. Beim Öffnen der Gartentür also den Kopf langsam nach rechts herausstrecken und den Hund oder die Kinder hinter sich halten.

Beautiful cottage. Location was perfect in terms of walks, pubs and getting further afield. Lovely to have own garden, fully stocked kitchen and washing machine facilities also. Parking is not readily available but we always found somewhere a minute or so from the cottage. It is on a busy bend but I managed with an 8 year old, 85 year old and 2 dogs ☺️

For a 6 day stay it would have been useful to have more than one bin bag and we couldn’t find the dishwasher tablets. A fan in each bedroom as well would have added to the comfort.

Perfect size for the three of us, very comfy and very well equipped. Plenty of space for my dogs nice garden.

When you exit property you have to step out onto a narrow busy main road contraflow system, without any pavements!!
