This marvelous retreat boasts a spacious, warm, and inviting living room where you could easily spend endless hours reading a good book or chatting with your friends and planning tomorrow's adventures. The well-equipped kitchen will help you channel your inner chef and treat everyone to delicious home-cooked meals. Plus, it features a cozy breakfast nook. The home has been renovated and restored over the past few years. It features a large collection of vintage photos depicting the area and its residents over the years including loggers and dairymen as well as the buildings of Ferndale, Eureka, Arcata, and Fortuna. This home is nothing short of a museum! And outside, this gem offers guests a convenient gas grill and an outdoor dining area, creating the perfect ambiance for cookouts.
Centrally located just a half-block off Main Street and only a block from the Ivanhoe's steakhouse or the Victorian Inn of Ferndale, this heart-stopping getaway is near to it all! Take a walking tour of the breathtaking architecture; the Gingerbread Mansion is just a block away! There are numerous shops and restaurants literally steps from your front door. Centerville Beach is just a quick drive from Ferndale. Another must-visit that you can literally find across the street is Poppa Joe's! Your visit to Ferndale wouldn't be complete without another time-honored Ferndale tradition: a hot dog at the Red Front Store, which happens to be around the block.
