Cute small getaway for two, managed by a lovely hostess

Milijana is a wonderful hostess and made us feel truly welcomed. Our stay was short and bittersweet since the reason behind it was the 1-year commemoration for the victims of Novi Sad train station tragedy. Milijana went above and beyond to make our stay carefree as possible.

The owner lives on site, it was easy to collect the keys

The room is on the ground floor with the only window facing a passage through the building, hence there was hardly any natural light in the room. There were lots of people walking by/past the window so it was loud late at night and early in the morning. The owners also rent a room next door, and the walls between the rooms were paper thin, so you could hear the person from the next room coughing as well as follow the programme on their telly. The bathroom is a wet room, so there is no a bath tub or a closed off shower cubicle, instead a door to the bedroom acts as the shower enclosure. When my son was having a shower, the water started running into the room, which was really impracticle. The owner lady seemed very nice, but to be honest quite clueless as to how to conduct the business. Example in point- she made and effort to make us feel welcome by arranging a platter of cheese and hams, however the plate was left in the fridge without any cover (cling film/foil/another plate) so I could not risk eating the food that I had no idea where or how it was prepared or how long it was left in the fridge for. The platter also made the fridge smell. So best intentions, but no idea of how to implement good ideas. The worst thing was that the duvet cover had at some point been urinated on by previous visitor/s, which became obvious to us during the first night's stay. I told the owner about and in fairness, she was mortified, but how it was not obvious to her that the duvet had been urinated on is beyond me- not only did it reek of urine but it was also stained yellow in the middle. I would therefore have to assume that she had not paid nmuch attention when changing the sheets.....assuming she had changed the sheets between the previous visitor and us. I would definitely not stay there again.

Location was great The owner Mirijana was amazing and we recieved a warm welcome and service that was above expectation. She prepared food a bottle of wine and all amenities that made our stay very comfortable.

Small yet clean, modern apartment. Have everything that you need, including iron, satelite tv, good air-condition.

Next apartment is very close and sound isolation is quite poor. If u want a quite place, we would not recommend this.
