Private Cartecay River Home w/ Hot Tub & Game Room

We loved sitting on the back deck all day long watching the river! Plenty of space for the 9 of us to gather and talk on small groups and large groups.

The layout of home was perfect for my two sons, their families, and me. Very spacious rooms, multiple bathrooms, fireplace, nicely equipped kitchen. All this and located on the gentle flowing river. Owner was exceptional.

Peaceful River Retreat with Room to Roam! We had an incredible stay at the Cartecay River House! The location is unbeatable—nestled right on the riverbank with gorgeous views from both decks. The home is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully stocked, making it perfect for a family getaway. We especially loved the game room downstairs, which kept everyone entertained, and the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after hiking and exploring Ellijay. The rustic charm of the interior paired beautifully with modern amenities. There was plenty of room for our group, and the layout made it easy to relax without feeling crowded. Booking and check-in were seamless, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout.
