The view alone is worth it. Perched on a hillside, it overlooks mountains, town, and hillsides, making them all viewable from any side of the house. There is a side patio with more excellent views and you can easily park next to it to bring in groceries and luggage.
Bonus: There is a round, soft dog bed our dog loved! We just put her own blanket on it and she was happy as a clam to sleep there.
The only downside is the second bedroom, which is located upstairs, accessible only by a vigorous metal ladder/trap door, or an exterior spiral metal staircase requiring you to go outdoors, climb down the metal stairs, and then back indoors to use a bathroom. Repeat in the opposite direction, to go back to bed. This is not for the faint of heart. Only athletic or adventurous teenage-young adults will be able to use it.
