Scenic Lyman Home on Swan Pond w/ Wraparound Deck!

This is the perfect cottage in a great location away from the traffic and noise but still close enough to visit all kinds of attractions and beaches in the area. Nice shallow lake for at least 10 ft which is perfect for little ones, also a dock to fish off of and poles in the shed. It's fully equipped with everything for kitchen with various types of dishes so you don't need to bring anything but food. The shower its self is a little small but manageable, it has 2 ac units and ceiling fans which keep it comfortable in hot weather. Each time we go we try to leave something for other guests. My kids save up money all year and then use a portion to get kids stuff for other kids, this time it was kids fishing poles,coloring activities and various fidget toys. The owners are amazing at getting back to renters with questions and they really appreciate suggestions.

The cottage was in the perfect spot, although i recommend not driving a low style car as it is a dirt road to get to it, stores and attractions were all within half an hour, including several ocean beaches. The lake was at the perfect temperature, and it was shallow for several feet, making it the perfect place for our young children to splash around in. The yard was huge and we'll maintained allowing us hours of fun in the sun without, we could have just stayed their the entire time had we not wanted to explore anything.The picture windows gave us stunning views especially the sunrising on the lake.It is extremely quiet not even crickets chirping at night. Beautiful view at night of the stars from the huge deck. My kids enjoyed being able to eat every day on the deck in the sunshine as we had perfect weather all 5 nights. Easy to reach owners by phone or email if their are any issues. The pictures don't do it justice, it could sleep 8 or 9 people if there's more then 1 couple going as there's a queen size futon in a side nook, room with a queen bed , room with 2 single beds and there are 2 sleeper sofas in the livingroom. The cottage was fully equipped with bedding, dishes ( except a pasta strainer), fans/ ac in 2 rooms. We had some very hot, humid weather, but it stayed cool enough in there. There is a washer and dryer on the property in the basement of the other house. There are plenty of chairs, outside games, kids outside toys(bats,balls,Tonka trucks, ect), and various sized life vests as there are kayaks. The owners left us a beautiful note with instructions for the cottage and some suggestions of things in the area. There is a basket with menus for easy ordering. I was not expecting to find a basket with stuff to make s'mores in the fire pit( plenty of chopped wood on site). There were various soaps, sun blocks and bug spray, and various items others had left behind. Some boards games, and puzzles if you get a rainy day.

We have no complaints,the sun is really bright in the morning. I suggest making sure you have sun glasses
