This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.
Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.
Military Discount
We proudly offer a 5% discount to active duty military members and veterans. Proper documentation is required. Reach out to our Guest Experience Team for details.
Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made **within 5 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:

Emerald Bear was just perfect for my group. We had our kids and their kids so three generations. Theres’s a beautiful deck on the first level that didn’t appear in the pictures and had several heavy duty Wicker chairs, rockers and a couch. Delightful to sit out in that area in the morning. We were involved in many activities around the area so didn’t get to sit and enjoy as much as we would had liked to, The AC stopped cooling, but I reported it and it was fixed on the next afternoon. All the comforts of home and completely decorated for the Fourth of July. Would definitely like to rent again.

Two of the outside doors did not lock -very disturbing. We had to jam chairs under the door knobs to try and secure them. Some of the pans had food stuck on them. The garage bin was not big enough to support 6 days of garbage, and if we needed to have it emptied it was an additional $35. I do not feel the price we payed was worth it. Also because the description did not detail pots n pans, small kitchen appliances, toilet paper etc
