Victorian Carpinteria Apartment < 1 Mi to Beach!

the location is lovely! so easy to walk around everywhere and walk down to the beach. the design of the space was wonderful. newly updated, very cute, and very clean. lots and lots of clean towels and access to the beach gear was fantastic. Jana was easy to reach and responded very quickly! the charm of the historic building was really lovely - love the old windows!

the kitchen could be a tad more equipped for those that like to cook. sadly the grill was a mess. really old and rusted and was actually almost dangerous to use. i would suggest to the owners that a new grill be purchased! and we had to buy our own propane which was a bit of a bummer. the patio in general is really small and the table and chairs there also a bit old and dusty. it was a nice spot to sit out and have morning coffee and tea, but could maybe use an upgrade, just a suggestion. the pull out sofa was fine for my daughter. but sadly the rollaway folding queen bed was not so comfortable at all. for a kiddo it would work, but for another adult (especially one with any back or body concerns) it was not great!

few light bulbs out. heater starter button didn’t work, had to light it manually.

Great location, nice people, very relaxing.

Close to beach (6 blocks), stores and restaurants. Nice balcony for reading or having a glass of wine.

Friday night noise, steep stairs, no air conditioning (lots of fans), price.
