Cozy Cottage Duplex: Walk to Peninsula State Park!

The cabin was perfect for the two of us, the kitchen had everything you need to cook meals. The cabin itself was very quiet you didn't hear anything from your neighbors or anyone else. The bed was a little on the hard side but any place you stay isn't going to be as comfortable as your own bed. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked immediately for next year. The pictures and description online do not describe all the amenities they provide. If you want to have a fire they even provide the wood and news paper and lighter. The location is perfect your minutes away from fish creek and down town ephraim. We are avid bike riders and were able to ride everywhere safely and having direct access to peninsula sate park is such a bonus. We put 30 miles on a day just exploring. Travis the property manager is excellent and responds immediately to any questions you may have or help you may need. We were even able to check in early. If you want a quiet little cabin and want to be able to cook for yourself to get out of the hustle and bustle of the busy down towns this is the right place to be.

Nothing absolutely nothing

We especially appreciated the close proximity to Peninsula State Park. After many years of camping with our friends, this was our first year using outside lodging. (We have chosen to no longer use our aging trailer so far away from home.) The wooded area around the cottage gave us a "camping" feel and we were super close to the park to meet up with our friends still camping.

We had trouble connecting to cable TV, but that really wasn't an issue. After all, TV hasn't been a part of our camping experience. We did watch a movie on ROKU which was nice.

The cabin was very nice. It was clean and well appointed.

There was a slight musty or moldy odor that was noticeable when first entering the cabin. The booking information said there was a queen sized bed, it was a double bed. Fortunately the couch was comfortable.

We fixed our own breakfast using kitchen facilities provided. This was a money saver. We liked the peacefulness of the location and the wood paneling.
