    Nice place, friendly people and beautiful beach. But the bar and activities close at 22.00. The breakfast is good, but you need to like Asian food in the morning. If not, there's a limited choice.

    We had a wonderful stay at Samed Tropical Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on Koh Samet. The resort is set in peaceful and tranquil surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of Sai Kaew Beach, making it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Despite its quiet location, Sai Kaew Beach and other attractions are still easily accessible by motorbike, giving you the best of both worlds – serenity and convenience. The calm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and laid-back island lifestyle made for a truly relaxing holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning again in the future.

    Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with the service during my stay. The room only had two pillows for two people, and one of them was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Since there was no service staff available during the evening hours, it was not possible to replace the pillow or solve the issue immediately. As a result, I woke up the next morning with neck pain and stiffness. When I reported this issue to Bikky at the reception the following day, I expected at least some understanding or a professional response. Instead, she simply smiled/grinned at my complaint, which I found very unprofessional and not customer-oriented at all. Small issues can happen in any hotel, but what really matters is how they are handled. Unfortunately, the service in this situation was disappointing.
