About this house rental
Welcome to our beautiful family home located just ten minutes from Scandinavia's largest ski resort, Åre. We are in a rural setting, with fantastic open views of the landscape.
We can offer you complete privacy and serenity. The house has a large open plan combined kitchen / living area with high ceilings. Out the front, towards the river is an extensive deck with a beautiful view.
Included with this house is a completely private wooden fire sauna free for all guests to use.
The location of this home is second to none, offering you true peace and seclusion with elevated views of the surroundings. The house is spacious and modern and positioned out in the quiet countryside giving guests a real feel of getting away from it all.
The house consists of 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a large living room where the kitchen is located. There are also other rooms such as a laundry room, hallway, and the small guest house right outside.
All guests are welcome to use the skateboard ramp, private wooden sauna located right by the river and the campfire just by the house for barbecuing and relaxing. Tracks for running / walking and mountain biking also cross the property.
A small guest house is also available right next to our property consisting of one bed.
Guests have the house all to themselves but we are only five minutes away so we can help with any needs you have plus advice and tips.

The section of the river called "Brattlandsströmmen" that borders the property is famous for trout fishing and excellent for both beginners and more advanced fishers. The Vålådalen Nature Reserve is only 30 km away and an excellent place for hiking, running and MTB. Ottsjön, 20 km away, is famous for its beauty, swimming, and kayaking.

It´s a real amazing place, the house is so cozy and comfortable. You have everything you need, the kitchen equipment is outstanding.
Marie and her husband are the nicest hosts you can imagine.
The sauna is directly at the river, with a great view, only some fishermen from time to time and besides them you are mostly on your own!
We can really recommend this house!

Zeer ruim comfortabel huis met uitstekende (keuken)faciliteiten. 3 weken in deze prachtige landelijke omgeving vlakbij ski- en natuurgebied was een feest. Houtgestookte sauna bij het meer op 5 minuten lopen van het huis. Fantastisch uitzicht daar! Oud en nieuw met champagne bij het buitenvuur, omgeven door een verse laag sneeuw en ABBA's Happy New Year.
Auto onmisbaar. Behulpzame eigenaren die zelfs bereid zijn bij zware sneeuwval s'nachts te hulp te komen als je naar het vliegveld moet. We hebben genoten!!

Perfect & stylish house with fantastic living room and kitchen. We have also enjoyed the large wooden deck with river view. All in a very quiet setting, trails along the river nearby. My son has been trout fishing - a wonderful location. Gösta is a great host and guide to the area.
We liked to stay in Undersaker with its small shops. A good starting point to explore Are, Valadalen, Ottsjön. Would love to come back.
