The food I was given was delicious and I was made to feel like one of the family. They helped by doing my laundry and Amit even took me out on his bike for a tour of the local area. Also very comfortable rooms. I have a wonderful time there.

Kelshi is a bigger town than Velas. Prefer staying at Kelshi for the amenities. Same turtle hatching happens at Kelshi as Velas. Our host Amit was very amiable, proactive in communication and very pleasant to speak with. Bharja Inn is clean, spacious, well located 15mins walk to Kelshi beach. Great vegetarian food cooked by the family. Good suggestions on places nearby and good recommendations for places to have Konkani fish. Good parking arrangement in premise. Prompt help by Amit whenever called upon. Good AC & wifi available in room. We saw 100+ turtle hatchlings. Brilliant. Unequivocally recommend Bharja Inn and Amit when visiting Kelshi.

Interesting property with old, traditional and brand new sections. Essentially a homestay, the owners were extremely welcoming, and cooked me dinner and breakfast, both delicious. They sat and chatted with me while I ate, which was lovely!
