Perfect getaway, just out of the way for an incredible amount of peace and quiet, but close enough to everything to get what you need in a pinch. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Will be back next year for sure.

The house was very cozy. It was just enough space for two people to feel comfortable and relaxed and injoy some intimate time together. The place was very clean and had plenty of amenities to make the stay comfortable for just about anyone. Super close to the beach, private and quiet.... yet close enough to any shopping, restaurants and anything else you could need last minute... either to the North, South or East. Obviously, the lake is to the west, hahaha The couch was comfortable... and watching the tv was as well. The TV had access to Netflix and Amazon Prime which was a plus for me. The fridge is full size which is a plus. The property had just about everything you could need... including spices. Although it did not have any salt which I thought was weird. The property contact was very helpful and quick to respond both before the schedule stay and during. All in all.... the property went above and beyond.

The toilet/sink area was a bit tight. I am very tall and had to sit on the toilet to brush my teeth. Those this is not really a complaint.... just a heads up. The beds are really high. I kept forgetting how high off the ground the bed was and kept miss stepping when getting out of bed in the morning. Nothing serious... it was funny. The first 2 days the hot water was very minimal, lasting about 2 or 3 minutes max which made taking a full shower impossible. On the 3rd day.... some mysterious men came onto the property went into the shed. After they left.... the hot water issue was fine. Not sure if it was related or not... This was truly the only issue we had. I will allso state here.... that the pictures in the listing are a tiny bit misleading as far as size goes. I was a little surprised to find the place a little bit smaller than expected. not much... but a little. The kitchen island surprised me most. I imagined it a tad bigger. Not a bad thing or deal breaker.... just a heads up. I will caution the next interested party. When I went to book the property, the initial daily price was very attractive and what hooked me. After I started the booking process... I then learned my price was going to allmost double because of the extra cleaning fee. I decided to stick with it anyways.... because I wanted the private, beach getaway... but I felt at the time that the cleaning fee was high... since there was allready a cleaning fee added before this one. I felt like it was a sneaky, back door way of charging more for the rental... by tempting you with a lower upfront cost. kind of like Ebay sellers you to do by offering .99 sale prices then making up the profit by charging $20 for shipping. Once I got to the property.... and read the list of things the property wanted you to do for them, in the way of cleaning... I had to ask myself... why I was paying the high extra cleaning fee? Everything else was wonderful. I would stay again.
