Lava Hot Springs Studio - Walk to Portneuf River!

Close to hot springs. Very spacious. Fluffy thick towels. Nice hooks outside for drying wet towels and swimsuits. Very clean.

There was only one sink for both hand washing and kitchen. Kinda gross. Cement floors were cold. Furnishings were a bit shabby. It was difficult to turn on the heat. The thermostat didn’t seem to work, so you had to get up on a chair and turn on the electric fireplace. The pillows were very hard.

I love the concept of the hotel. I love the location. I love the beds.

Our non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray and they did not discount us or move rooms. It was very loud as well.

Location was great pretty much right in the middle of town, we didn't see any host which is fine. I did like that they had plenty of hooks around the room to hang jackets and towels on. Should consider a hook just outside the shower's though so one does not have to trek across the very large bathroom to grab a towel when exiting the shower. Nice large room my two frenchies had plenty of room to run around and play, also short walk to park so they could relive themselfs. Beds were super comfortable.

I didn't like that I had to pay a cleaning deposit and then have to go in and clean the room upon arrival and then was expected to clean it again upon checkout :/.
