It was tidy, very good location and the owners were kind and friendly.

Furniture and style is a bit out of date and walls are very thin, so you can hear most of the movements outside the room.

The shore and the attractions where fairly close ( less than 10 mins walk ) The rooms where clean, and parking was easy.

It struck us by surprise that the property is literally right next to the train tracks. Reading other comments seems that we have been unlucky with the trains, but no mention in the description or image shows you this. Now that I have double checked if you zoom in enough on the map you can tell, and I can see that some comments have this info, but I think this is a condition that influences your stay far more than how it is not highlighted. In fact if I would have captured this info, I would not have booked this property. Generally we really missed our silence, not only because of the trains, but also the doors and windows seamed to lack soundproofing, and we got waken several times when other guest where either getting back late or leaving their rooms. Another rooms terrace have been under our window, and it was surprising how we have heard every word of the conversation below us, despite all the windows being closed. Maybe we were just unlucky, but these are still issues that made our stay uncomfortable, and we felt really tired the whole day after we stayed here. All in all - If silence and privacy is something you like you might not be enjoying yourself, but if you don't bother, then you can have a new and clean room walking distance to the shore and restaurants for an ok price.
