The hosts are so lovely and accommodating. They drove us into town to shop and get dinner. It’s also only an 800m walk to the city center. The “family room” is actually two separate rooms with queen beds and an adjoining balcony then a private bathroom and toilet across the sitting area. We were hiking the TMB so it was a brief private transfer from Les Chapieux to Bourg Saint Maurice. Glad we did it because it was a contrast w the Refugios and we were able to visit a sporting goods store to get supplies.

The breakfast was delicious and generous in choice, they were charming and wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The only negative is we didn't stay long enough!

It is only a bit far from the SCNF but the host do the best and bring you back and forth
