Wow, perfect for our girl’s trip. Close to the action on Market and Main Streets and easy to hop onto the major highways to get to offerings on the south and west side. So many amenities available - fully stocked plates and cookware, soap, shampoo, Conditioner, hairdryers, snacks, coffee, and waters. TV on 1st fl plus another in the kid’s bedroom. So welcoming and thoughtful. Owners were readily available if we needed info. Highly recommend for groups of 3-6.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The house was very quiet inside and pretty clean. We were happy that it had a washer and dryer and plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. The furniture in the living room and dinning room were not very comfortable. The location was conveniently located to down town and seemed safe.

I will reiterate what others have said about first impressions about uneasiness over the neighborhood. However, again like others we had no issue. The main bedroom on the first floor got a lot of road noise so you need something to block out the noise. Pictures are very accurate. It had everything you needed for a stay.

This house worked so well for the four of us who stayed there during a convention we were attending downtown. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My friends and I stayed the weekend for a concert Parristown Hall. The location cannot be beat. If it had been warmer we would have walked to the venue. Literally everything we wanted to do, we looked it up and it was 3-5 minutes away. Nice and clean, comfortable beds, host was very responsive with any questions. The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy but I didn't feel unsafe. You can tell it's up and coming. Living in Indianapolis, we hit Louisville for shows on a regular basis. I'll definitely come back to this spot in the future.

The listing says it sleeps 8. We had 8 grown men staying 3 of them backed out at the last min which was good bc 2 bedrooms only have 1 queen bed and the other room had 2 small single beds. One person slept on the couch and there was an airmatress. The unfinished basement could have been another room to comfortably sleep 8. Unless you have 2 couples staying in the queen beds and 2 small children. Someone will still have to sleep on the couch and use and air mattress to sleep 8.

We are so happy with our stay at Phoenix Hill. The house is super cute and nice! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The area was nice. However it was snowing when we were there so we didn’t get to explore the area around the house much. We felt very safe and really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this house and if we’re ever back in the area will definitely stay again!

Good place to stay. The bed was super comfy and to place was clean. It is located close to downtown. Two bathrooms were great especially with teens. and the smart tv’s were a plus! Nice big table with extra chairs in the basement was great for our game night! Agave & Rye restaurant was right up the street and the food was great! Not a bad place for our quick weekend trip! Close to Louisville Mega Caverns!

This home was very clean and well furnished inside. The furiture, appliances, dishwear, cookwear, mattresses and all contents are first class. Since we are a family of six', we cook two meals a day in-home and eat out one meal. Everything we needed was on site for cooking. Not too much stuff but just enough. The Smart TV provided live TV as well as allowing us to connect our laptop for family focused movies. The nice kitchen table was perfect for meals and card games. We did laundry in the clean basement using the nice washer and dryer.The electronic thermostate was great and the temperatures in the house were comfortable both on the main floor and second floor. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room help to provide nice air movement.Every inch of the house was clean to include showers, sinks, cupboards, and tile and laminate flooring.My husband being a licensed builder, commented on the excellent construction standards used with new poured cement walls and treated floor trusses. Upon our arrival we were very nervous about the neighborhood. The owner assured us she had never experienced any issues which did prove to be the case for us. We are not accustom to inner city living so the graffiti on the fences next door were alarming to us fearing possible gang issues. However, we did end up walking to most places in the area and the kids played outdoors several hours. We did feel safe by the end our stay. It appears to be an area were older homes are being taken down and newer home are going up or existing home are being remodeled. Perhaps, there could be more information provided so guests see more than just the single house. The outside appearance of the home does not properly reflect the high standards of the inside. We were also a bit surprised when the owner told us there were cameras on the front and back doors where she could see us entering and leaving. While I guess they may have offered an extra level of safety, it was new for me to feel like someone was watching us. The owner assured me there were no cameras inside the house and I do apprciate her telling me about the outside cameras just prior to our arrival. The owner has put a lot of work into this home to make it comfortable and safe for guests. We appreciate it very much.

We needed to take a last minute overnight trip to Louisville and didn't want to stay in a hotel with 5 children. This house was great for us! We were able to go walk around NULU and enjoys some shops & pubs and were only 5 minutes away from other food/shopping options. We're looking to come back for a weekend and would stay here again.
