La Ciñuelica, R1 1st Floor apartment Com Pool L180

The start of the week was really good we were on a family holiday and got an early check in, the lady that checked us in was excellent 👍 couldn’t fault the staff at all!

We are a family of 4 my children are 8 and 6 years old, and as they are kids they like to run around. After a day at the 1st floor apartment the lady down stairs came up and complained about hearing the kids footsteps down stairs and threatened to call the police on us and was rude and racist to my wife, we ignored her and tried to keep the kids walking a little lighter on the floor, bear in mind we could hear everything above us but this did not bother us in the slightest bit because it is a apartment block and Spanish buildings have very little insulation. After a couple of days of snide comments in Spanish( we don’t speak Spanish) and dirty looks every time we left the apartment. we still ignored her. We were getting ready for going out for dinner at around 5pm showers etc and the lady from down stairs came up to our apartment and with her hose and soaked our clothes that were drying on the balcony, and shouted through our door in Spanish. This scared the kids and made us feel on edge the whole time and I felt like I couldn’t react the way I wanted to out of fear of being arrested in a foreign country with my wife and children. After all of this I rang the company who we booked with and explained the situation they were brilliant and moved us out of the apartment and put us somewhere else for the last night which was really nice and we couldn’t fault James holidays in how the dealt with the problem. Please bear in mind the kids were in bed for 9.30/10pm every night, we were out swimming and down at the beach most of the day everyday, we really weren’t being that loud no music playing etc no real late nights and lastly we are not usually complainers we usually get on wherever we go this is a real one off for us as a family.
