We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and professional, excellent location next to a train station and parking right in front of the hotel. Facilities were very nice: i.e. SPA, kids play room and private beach. Would definitely come again.

Everything was great!

Very clean

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the heating was working well just like every equipment. The whole house is clean and has a calm atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is rich and more than enough. We also had dinner in the Share! restaurant which was delicious as well, and portions were enough for everyone. We were afraid of the train station right in front of the building, but this was not loud at all so it is not bothering (maybe only the wires at the view of the mountains). So we would chose it again!

The walls (at least at the 2 apartments where we stayed) are thin so we could hear everything through it. It was rather a behavior-issue but nothing could save us from loud neighbors.

We hit the jackpot with the location! couldn’t ask for a better spot, surrounded by stunning views. The hotel had a gym and a rooftop terace. Rooms were definitely on the cozy side (read: don’t expect to do cartwheels), but perfectly fine for two people. The bed was good. Bonus points for the elevator, no stair-climbing workout while hauling suitcases.

While the location and comfort hit the target, the lack of a functioning reception and basic service disrupted the experience. One of the key reasons we choose hotels over Airbnb is the convenience of on-site support, but reception was closed most of the time. Check-in instructions were only in German (which we don’t speak), and when I tried to book the hotel restaurant for a national holiday, I got a German-speaking robot. We drove there only to find it closed, leaving us without dinner options. The next morning, I packed up for a sauna session, to find it locked with a sign saying to contact reception which, again, was closed. I messaged the contact and never got a reply. The room wasn’t properly clean either. We used the towel heater in the bathroom and it was so dirty we had to clean it ourselves. On the first day there was no room cleaning at all. On the second, they unexpectedly entered the room, made the bed in the loosest sense (pillows tossed around, just the mattress cover vaguely straightened) and took out the garbage. The towels on the floor were not replaced, so you can imagine... Massive potential here, but the lack of basic hospitality and cleanliness missed the mark.
