We arrived late in the evening, so it was a little difficult to see the numbers of the code. But with the help of the light from a phone, we managed.

Bad

Location is fine,in the old town of Friedrichstadt.

Although the apartment was in a nice location, old house, it was not well refurbished - sink in toilette and shower was clogged, nothing worked. That can happen, and that alone would not be a point for a bad review. We talked with the owner, agreed that we leave a night earlier to give him the chance for a quick repair and will get back half of the price, but he did not keep the agreement, in spite of two reminders. Thus, I cannot recommend this location.

Skøn by, glade tjenere og forretningsindehaver. Dog skulle næsten alt betales kontant i byen.

Beliggenheden var perfekt. Tæt på marked og restauranter.

Vi har begge for nylig fået nyt knæ. Så det var meget besværligt og tidskrævende for os at komme op til anden sal af de to trapper. Den første trappe kunne vi godt have brug for gelænder oppe ved de sidste tre trin.

Schön eingerichtete und gut ausgestattete, saubere Wohnung. Die Lage ist wirklich super! Man wohnt quasi direkt am Marktplatz.

Die Wohnung ist trotz ordentlichem Lüften sehr feucht. Unsere Klamotten waren nach dem Urlaub beim Auspacken zuhause immer noch klamm. Die Wohnung ist zudem sehr hellhörig. Man hört quasi jeden Schritt der Nachbarn ein Stockwerk höher.

Lage top, Ausstattung dürftig!

Das Appartment war sehr zentral gelegen.

Die Unterkunft war nicht gereinigt, als wir um 15 Uhr rein wollten. Es war unmöglich den Besitzer mit der angegebenen Nummer zu erreichen( Handynummer aus den Arabischen Emiraten). Wir haben uns dann umständlich zu booking.com durchtelefoniert. Es hat dann nochmal 1 Stunde gedauert, bis wir Hilfe bekamen. Die Betten sind sehr hart und unbequem, es gibt keine Kaffeemaschine, nur eine Nespressomaschine, obwohl es anders beschrieben war. Die Küchenausstattung ist eher dürftig.

Die FeWo weist aber bauliche Besonderheiten auf, die in der Beschreibung transparent sein sollten.

Der Kontakt im Vorfeld erfolgte unkompliziert, allerdings überwiegend automatisiert. Die Schlüsselübergabe per Safe hat völlig reibungslos funktioniert. Die Ferienwohnung macht insgesamt einen sehr modernen und frisch renovierten Eindruck – sowohl die Ausstattung als auch das Mobiliar wirken neuwertig. Auch in puncto Sauberkeit gibt es nichts zu beanstanden: Die Räume waren gründlich gereinigt, und in der Küche standen sogar ein frisches Geschirrhandtuch, Spüllappen sowie Geschirrspültabs bereit – eine nette Aufmerksamkeit. Das Bett empfand ich bequem, und auch die Wohnfläche ist großzügig bemessen. Das WLAN funktionierte stabil und zuverlässig.

Problematisch empfand ich jedoch die Treppen, insbesondere die zweite Treppe ins Dachgeschoss. Sie ist extrem steil und meines Erachtens zumindest grenzwertig – möglicherweise verstößt sie sogar gegen bauliche Vorschriften. Für Gäste sollte in der Beschreibung der Hinweis aufgenommen werden, dass für die Nutzung eine gewisse körperliche Fitness und Koordination erforderlich sind. Ein weiteres Manko ist die niedrige, schräge Decke im Dachgeschoss, die vermutlich stellenweise unter 1,70 m liegt. Zudem verlaufen teilweise Holzbalken unterhalb der Decke, was insbesondere für größere Gäste zur echten Herausforderung werden kann. Mit meinen 1,84 m Körpergröße musste ich sehr aufpassen, mir nicht den Kopf zu stoßen – und leider ist es mir trotzdem zweimal passiert; dabei einmal erheblich am Balken. Gäste ab etwa 1,90 m oder größer könnten hier erhebliche Schwierigkeiten haben. Auch darauf sollte vorab explizit hingewiesen werden. Möglichkeiten, Handtücher aufzuhängen, wäre m. E. nach eine sinnvolle Ergänzung.

Sehr gute Lage. Gleich in der Innenstadt. Restaurants gut erreichbar.

Kaffeezubereitung sollte in der Beschreibung der Wohnung erwähnt werden. Kaffee ist nur mit Kapseln möglich. Der Wasserkocher hat eine Funktionsstörung. Sollte unbedingt behoben werden.

Kurzurlaub in Friedrichstadt

Die Lage war perfekt. Die Wohnung ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Die Dusche ist ebenerdig, was für mich sehr gut war. Es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem. Der Kontakt zur Familie Jaber war perfekt.

Für mich persönlich war die Stufe zum Küchenbereich etwas schwierig. Leider gibt es keinen Kleiderschrank sondern nur eine Stange mit Bügeln. Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig, so dass es von den Gästen die oben gewohnt haben auch laut war, sogar nachts.

Absolut empfehlenswert bei einem Aufenthalt in Friedrichstadt

Die Unterkunft liegt absolut zentral mitten im Ort. Bis zum Marktplatz sind es nur wenige Meter. Unsere Wohnung war mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet; es gab eine kleine, gut ausgestattete Küche, die wir in den sechs Tagen auch genutzt haben; einen vom Schlafzimmer getrennten Wohnbereich und eine zwar kleine, aber sonnige Terrasse. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir gesichert hinter dem Haus abstellen. Schade, daß wir unserem Gastgeber nicht persönlich Danke sagen konnten. Die Wohnung ist absolut zu empfehlen! Aldi, Lidl und Co sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Und wenn man mal etwas Besonderes sucht: das Cafe "Tut gut" ca. 1,5 km nördlich von Koldenbüttel ist immer einen Besuch wert (Öffnungszeiten vorher abchecken...)

Die Parksituation in der Altstadt ist natürlich ein Problem. Tip von uns: im Bereich des Bahnhofs oder noch näher in der Koldenbüttler Straße gibt es kostenfreie Parkplätze, auf denen man auch längere Zeit parken kann.
