Our family visited Santa Theresa for three days as part of our longer trip to Costa Rica. The owner was having difficulties with the cleaning service so the house was not as clean as expected with very few towels. The washing machine was not functioning properly and my husband fixed the broken front door. I should have done more research on the town with the poor roads and difficult parking. Even with a rental car we only had one driver. It would have been much better to also have an ATV so that we could come and go separately without making the very steep walk to and from the beach/ town. The view was amazing and there was plenty of room for 5 of us.

This house is beautifully located with a great view of the sea. The interiors are spacious and clean. The decors are really nice and reflect the owner’s style. It felt very welcoming. Would definitely recommend it to other families or a group of friends

We had a great time here and would fully recommend it. The place looks exactly like in the photos. It's beautiful. The ocean view is great with the sunsets and weather changing the landscape constantly. Sophia met us for check in and was awesome. Super helpful throughout (e.g., hooked us up with an ATV rental). Location is secure with 24/7 friendly guard at gate. The driveway is long and insanely steep. We're a fit crew and we only walked it once before renting an ATV (which is the key mode of transport in town anyway, so just plan on it). The pool is lovely, but there is a beach with vehicle parking almost across the street from Mar-a-mar that is beautiful. The kitchen is well supplied, though there were ants around pretty regularly. Not really bothersome, but present. The upstairs downstairs set up allows for pretty separate spaces if you want it that way. Location is quiet. Wish I was headed back there tomorrow!

Alice, the owner, and Sofia, the property manager, were fantastic. They were so helpful in accommodating our needs and requests, and they were so helpful with recommendations! The view from the VRBO was beautiful. Santa Teresa is a hopping town all day and night, so don’t expect low key tranquility. This spot is alive and fun. We spent an entire day at the beach directly across the street (short walk) from the lower parking area. Beautiful wide, sandy beaches with gorgeous water. The condo is in a gated community so it is safe and secure. The listing shows there is a washer and dryer available, but it was not available for our stay. We would highly recommend this VRBO.
