About this apartment rental
The apartment "Viking nest" is located directly on the Harle in the immediate vicinity - 3km - to Carolinensiel.
In our modern, cozy apartment you will find everything you need for a relaxing North Sea vacation.
You sleep in a spacious bedroom for adults and a children's room with sleeping loft, accessible via stairs or climbing wall. A day bed under the gallery offers another sleeping option. Decentralized ventilation systems always ensure fresh air in the bedroom and save energy.
Directly accessible from the living and dining area, you reach the partially covered terrace for mild summer nights and for the cold days there is a fireplace in the living area.
A dog is welcome, the terrace is currently not fenced, but this will be done in a timely manner.
The apartment can accommodate at least two adults and three children. If the day bed and the sofa are pulled out, eight people can be accommodated.
The apartment is part of the Wikingerhof in Altfunnixsiel. The facility is located directly on the Harle with its own jetty for water sports enthusiasts and access for anglers.
The garden of the complex, with a large lawn and seating, is for common use. A communal sauna is located directly opposite the apartment and can be used for a fee.
Washer and dryer are also available there for a fee.
There is a free parking lot directly at the building.

Wir fahren gerade aus unserem Kurzurlaub im Wickingernest zurück. Die Einrichtung ist sehr kinderfreundlich und gut durchdacht. Alles ist sauber und modern eingerichtet.
Unsere Kinder haben die Schlafhöhle auf erhöhter Ebene geliebt, aber auch die Kletterwand und die Schaukel.
Mit dem Auto ist man schnell an verschiedenen Stränden. Auch am Haus kann man mal etwas an der Harle entspannen. Schön wars...

Wir haben hier eine tolle Wohnung in der Nähe von Carolinensiel vorgefunden. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön zurecht gemacht und sehr Kinderfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Lage zur Harle ist aus unserer Sicht ein Plus. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass man nicht von den anderen Wohnungen die es hier noch gibt mitbekommt. Nur der Autoverkehr ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Für uns war das aber ok.
Einziges Kritikpunkt war die Reinigung der Wohnung. Der Eigentümer hat sich hier sehr für uns eingesetzt so das schnell eine Lösung gefunden wurde.
In Summe können wir diese Wohnung nur empfehlen. die 14 Tage waren für uns sehr kurzweilig.
Kurze Wege um Tagesausflüge zu den Inseln Langeoog, Spiekeroog und Wangerooge waren für uns auch ein wichtige Kriterium.
In Carolinensiel bekommt man alles was man sich im Urlaub mit der Familie wünscht.
