Hilton Head Island -Sea Pines Vacation in South Carolina - Dog Friendly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sea Pines. My family of six was able to stay comfortably with more than enough space for everyone. The host was accommodating and delightful to speak with. She responded to any questions promptly. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great location in the Sea Pines area of Hilton Head. Had a problem with the kitchen sink drain and couldn’t use that sink for our stay. Host was very apologetic and it didn’t ruin our trip. House was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was as advertised except there was no barbeque grill which would have been helpful. I'm curious as to why in the listing it says there is an elevator? It's all one floor. There was a plumbing problem that was handled promptly. Thank you, Helen. Communication was great.

Communication up front was pretty broken, we weren’t told about the $22/week parking fee until we talked to friends who had previously stayed inside Sea Pines resort. We didn’t receive the code to get in until shortly after 4PM, when you’re driving 4 hours with 2 dogs and a 1 year old child it was a little sketchy to not know if we were going to be able to get in the air conditioning right away (July trip, above 90 every day). When we arrived, the temperature inside the home was VERY warm. We turned down the thermostat to get it to a manageable level, but it took until overnight to get it close to comfortable. All of the towels hanging in every bathroom were wet when we arrived and the dishwasher was still running, along with the trash cans being full from the last renter. There was a dryer to use so we threw all of the towels in there, but it had seemed like the cleaning crew had just been there and did a very rushed job, which makes us think other things were probably missed as well. The entire home could definitely use some updating and a good deep clean (living room rug should just be thrown away). The property served its purpose because we had a larger group staying on the island so we spent most of our time at their rental house and used this one mainly for sleep, but if we had planned on spending time in this specific house we probably would’ve looked elsewhere.
