Cottage 45° South

Ian and Sally are great hosts. They gave us great tips to visit the area. The house is very confortable like home. The view is fantastic. We all loved our stay.

Everything. This cottage was just perfect, everything you could want, clean comfortable and an idyllic setting. I wish we could have stayed much longer

Nothing its perfect

Staying here was a highlight of our entire New Zealand trip! It was incredibly peaceful, the scenery was beautiful, and it was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Ian was wonderful and was so easy to communicate with and the house had everything we could need and more. We especially loved having the scenic lookout just two minutes up the road from the house. What an incredible location, we can only hope to be back someday!

Literally nothing!

It had everything we could possibly need and more. The property is beautifully maintained, very very clean and luxuriously furnished. Like a 5 star villa. And it was equipped with so many amenities that other properties do not provide, from kitchen supplies like extra (and I mean extra) kitchen towels, cloths, cling wrap, aluminum foil, etc. Breville coffeemaker that can steam milk for cappuccinos and lattes. Two different types of clothes detergent for gentle and normal washes. Large body wash in the bathroom and liquid hand soaps at every sink. Thank you so much, Ian and Sally, for your generosity. I hope that all your guests continue to keep your place as wonderfully maintained as it is and not take advantage of your generosity and goodwill. The kids loved the huge pond with the diving ducks but most of all, miss Pepper the cairn terrier.

We were not told that it is worthwhile to stay more than 2 nights! What a shame that we had to leave. Totally worthwhile to break your journey here and stay longer than two nights, even if you only planned to see the Milford Sounds.
