Gîte **** Le Meyerhof

The location was amazing - right next to a vineyard in a lovely quiet area of Alsace with just a half hour stroll down through more vineyards to the next village of Bergheim which was very typical of Alsace. The gîte was well equipped and beautifully decorated with old furniture typical of the region. The under floor heating downstairs was a nice surprise. It was a great base for exploring the area - so beautiful in the autumn sunshine. I would definitely recommend and I would certainly go there again.

Just a minor thing that the lounge, being upstairs, was a little awkward for the dog as the uncarpeted stairs were a little slippy so she got carried up and down!

Sehr schöne gut ausgestattete und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Alle Einrichtungen von der Dusche über die Küchengeräte bis zum Internetanschluss (sehr schnell) haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Der Hausverwalter stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und überraschte uns noch mit Flammkuchen. Viele gute Restaurants aller Preisklassen sind innerhalb von 15 min. erreichbar, aber auch im Chez Helmut am Ort hat es uns gut geschmeckt und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Ein wunderbarer Ort, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Räume im Erdgeschoss habe durch das historische Gebäude etwas weniger Tageslicht, sind aber durch zahlreiche Deckenspots, sowohl in der Küche als auch im Essbereich, sehr gut und aufwändig ausgeleuchtet . Die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer ist tatsächlich etwas steil, wenn man Nachts "mal raus muss"

Wspaniała lokalizacja, doskonała baza wypadowa do zwiedzania alzackich miasteczek. Przepiękne otoczenie, winnice, spokój. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, przepiękne meble, ogród.

Logement impeccable, propre, bien équipé. Endroit calme, verdoyant, superbe bâtisse. Hôtes très agréables et disponibles. Je recommande.
