The property is huge and has lots of things that make our stay comfortable. Like cups, plates, seasonings, etc… it looks like it’s a home that they owners love and care about it very much. Even when we complained that there isn’t enough pool towels, they sent someone immediately the next day to address the issues.

There are many rooms and I think some of the rooms might not have been cleaned or changed sheets because for one of the rooms, my son slept there one night and he got an asthma attack that night. He has been fine for over months traveling. Just one night there triggered his asthma. Also, the beds of my daughters (they slept on the top floor) had some kind of sand between the sheets. My bed (in the bottom floor) has dead bugs falling from the ceilings down. Lastly, we don’t know why there are so MANY mirrors in the house. It can feel creepy 😅

Very kind and helpful owners. Property has some beautiful reminders of its history. It’s a great size so everyone has space, the pool is a wonderful size. The kitchen is a great place to cook meals and the bbq is very handy. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels etc. Barn / garage was handy for parking a motorcycle when family came to visit, we also stored our cars top-box in there. You genuinely can’t understand the layout of the house until you arrive, it’s very bizarre but quirky and it really works. Very quiet immediate local area, perfect for those seeking peace & tranquility. So much wildlife at the property, great if you have children or adults who like to observe nature.

The property has an issue with its septic tank causing quite a strong odour. However, the best way to combat the smell was to leave the barn doors open to allow plenty of ventilation. The owners were made aware of the problem and immediately tried to rectify it. The mezzanine level bedroom and 1st floor bedroom (nearest to the shower room) both have windows that don’t have anything blocking out daylight, meaning that when the sun comes up, your sleep space is filled with light. Eye masks are a good idea if you’re light sensitive when sleeping.
