Hotel was unique with lots of memorabilia regarding the Old Post Office Room had everything you needed. In a perfect location for everything in Hythe. Car Park was next door . Jamie was an excellent host. Would definitely stay here again. Can't recommend it enough.

Location and room well situated.Jaime was so welcoming and friendly,very knowledgable about the area and all things Hythe.The guesthouse is in a very favourable position with close proximity to the canal,which was lovely as we were visiting for the Venetion Fete.
Could hear the people in the upstairs room very clearly,although it wasn't all the time and windows not having doubleglazing you could here the traffic.

Hythe is a lovely coastal town with charm, the property is located perfectly for exploring the area. Interesting building with a pay as you go car park close by
Very tired soft mattress with no support . Not suitable for a boutique hotel and urgently needs replacing . We struggled sleeping here which was disappointing, the shower room was small basic and uninviting, the shower itself was very poor. The postmaster room is in the roof , very hot with no A/C during summer. Judging by the depths of roof line I would expect limited insulation. Definitely needs some attention. We did book because of the positive reviews and think maybe the majority are for the lower rooms perhaps
