About this house rental

Creekside (our name for this rental) is an inviting two bedroom, two bathroom open living/dining/kitchen space. Guests have remarked that they had everything they needed, including a stack-able washer/drier. It comfortably fits 4 guests but there is a small single bed loft accessed by a built in ladder for a 5th young/spry person, if necessary, bedding included ($45.00 one time charge). The living quarters sit above a three car garage and is surrounded by tall, beautiful pine, birch and chestnut trees. With two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus a fully equipped kitchen it has all you need for your home away from home. You can see wildlife from the back porch and enjoy the shade of the beautiful trees when you return from a day of sightseeing or adventure. It is tucked away in a wooded area, with Woodland creek running behind it. This creek is shallow and on the other side of our yard fence. Sitting on the deck in the evening while cooking on the gas grill is an extra treat. Although it feels like you are miles away from town, Creekside is in fact walking distance to downtown Kalispell for fine dining, shopping, spas, cafe's, Kalispell Center Mall, churches, museums, Woodland Park is less than a block away. It is the home of many gardens and a lovely ponds, Ice Skating in the winter, Waterpark and swimming pool in the summer plus a skate park and running/walking paths. Softballs fields and the famous historic Conrad Mansion are also in the neighborhood. We also rent a larger house up the hill called Park Place- together the two places make a perfect spot for family reunions. Well behaved pets are welcome ($75/stay), please see Pet Policy for more details. Though there is a fence around the yard it is not necessarily designed to contain pets. Guests will need to make other arrangements for pets. There is a one car garage space available for our guests below the Creekside rental.
Should you be venturing to Glacier National Park from our location, the west entrance is about a half hour away. We supply bear spray and water bottles for your adventure. Please note, dogs are bot allowed on any Glacier Park trails..

This house was the perfect base for our ski vacation. We were only about 35 minutes from the ski hill. There are restaurants and grocery stores close by. The setting was private and the house had everything we needed. we really enjoyed our vacation.

This was a very clean house with the amenities you need for a week. They even had a little christmas tree and we were able to use the garage, which was nice as there was snow. The only thing that really worried us was the electrical safety of our home, and many more have written about the simple maintenance that this house is lacking. Instead of taking away a towelbar that was broken, they just leave it and buy an over-the-door towel bar. The built-in lights go on and off by themselves, and that indicates lose wires which can cause a fire. We are not the first one to report that.It was really clean and that it is just interesting that they don't spend the few bucks to either maintain simple things themselves, or hire a handyman who can take care of those simple items in less then an hour.

We truly enjoyed staying at this place. I had time to visit with a close friend then my spouse joined us for the last night. I would stay at the same place again.

The property served our purpose very well - this was our first stop on a western Montana vacation, and Kalispell is a good starting point for Whitefish and Glacier National Park. The apartment is indeed immaculately clean, plenty of towels, and one of the most comfortable beds ever; the kitchen is well stocked for an extended stay, garage access is a big plus, and having a washer and dryer is nice. Hot weather cooling uses standalone air conditioning units vented through the windows.The property is shared with a Montessori school, and a trailer park is just across the street, if that matters.The apartment is about 20 maintenance punchlist items away from another star - just some attention to the details would help: towel bar missing, broken toilet paper dispenser, reluctant shower door, light bulbs out, that kind of thing. The recreational amenities mentioned are in a nice public park two blocks away, not on the property.Property owner communication was effective and helpful, from reservation through the stay.
