Overall I enjoyed my stay at Criston Guest House. Here are some tips for fellow travellers. The location is 4km approx from Meenakshi Temple. This location is at a residential area where there are no restaurants, so you need to plan for this. It is 150Rp by Rickshaw to the temple or 20Rp shared auto once you walk to the main road (less than 5 mins away). The drop off point for the shared auto is different to the pick up point due to one way system. The owner of the Home stay can give you their business card that has the address. I would recommend the breakfast at the homestay, delicious and plentiful.
Both the pillows and mattress were very hard.

Property was clean and decent but far away from temple area.
There was no hand-wash in washroom and water filter was also empty.
