Modern Family Home 5 min to Beach +Pool +Garage

The apartment is so modern, cleanest we’ve ever been, best location (everything is in a walking distance) and so perfectly equipped. We also loved the pool-area, and the garage is very useful. This has truly scandi standards in the middle of the Cap d’Antibes! What a pearl!

Asunto oli siisti, tilava ja hyvin varusteltu. Sijainti oli loistava ja sisään- ja uloskirjautuminen sujuvaa. Parveke oli iso ja viihtyisä.

Tyynyjä ja pyyhkeitä oli niukasti. Iso osa kaappitilasta oli lukittu omistajan omaan käyttöön. Kameran tai liiketunnistimen näköisiä pallukoita oli joka huoneessa. Minusta niistä olisi kohteliasta kertoa.

Rien tout était parfait

The location was excellent and the facilities were very good with a large, well equipped kitchen, a huge reception space (which we didn’t really make much use of ) and a lovely large balcony. The washing machine (self-dosing so no need for detergent) was very useful as we’d been in France for nearly 10 days at that point. Security was excellent and my husband was delighted that there was a garage for our car (we don’t have that at home!). Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach and the train station. We used the train quite a bit and had a day out in Nice as well as visiting Eze and Beaulieu sur Mer, well worth using instead of the car. We visited the beach at Juan les Pins and pre-booked loungers at the public beach 10 euros each rather than 30-40 each at the beach club - well worth doing!

We hadn’t fully appreciated that the apartment was designed for a family so the bunk bed was squeezed in the room with the double bed making it a little cramped. The host had assumed we were travelling with a child so perhaps I accidentally ticked a box but as a couple, we’d have preferred the bunk bed not to be there… or, in fact, it could have been in the reception room. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as others we’d stayed in and the air conditioning made slightly odd clicking sounds. Perhaps we should have reported this but it was very minor. The pool was lovely and was across the access driveway through a secure gate. We were told we could use the loungers there but I was concerned that they may have belonged to other residents as the apartments are mainly privately owned with not many rented out.
