Greenswood Cottage is a cosy cottage for two, in a quiet rural spot between the village of Strete and the town of Dartmouth. This single-storey cottage has beautiful, landscaped gardens with ponds and a lake. Inside, there's everything you need for a memorable stay in the South Devon countryside - as a base form where to explore, or for a snug stay in the cooler months. It's only a short drive to Dartmouth town centre, and near the superb and diverse beaches of Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands.


Accommodation:

Enter through the stable door into the light and airy open-plan living area. This is a lovely space with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and garden views from all windows. The lounge space at the end of the room has a small sofa and armchair as well as Smart TV.

The kitchen is well equipped with an oven and ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The dining area seats two and overlooks the garden.

The double bedroom has a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom again has a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams as well as built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a separate bath and walk-in shower.

There's electric heating for comfort.

Outside:

The owners welcome you to share their beautifully-landscaped gardens with ponds and a lake. There are many quiet corners and seating areas where you can sit and enjoy the views as well as a private slate terrace with outdoor furniture for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Nearby:

A short drive (5 minutes) will take you to the coastal villages of Strete and Stoke Fleming where there is choice of pubs and restaurants as well as access o the beaches Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands. Further afield is the town of Dartmouth where you will find a mix of pubs, restaurants, cafes, and shops.
