This place is an absolute gem. While it is called a “mini” cabin, it is roomy and even bigger than it looks in the photos. It is also it is perfect for families. They go out of their way to make it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, and utensils you might need for cooking and baking, and the appliances are good quality. You can’t see it in the photos but they also have a toaster and coffee maker on the counters. Make sure to bring all the basics like olive oil, etc. because it does not have any extra food items. The furniture is cozy and comfortable, and the fire is lovely in the winter. They are stocked with movies as well as games to play with kids, and have a set of Dr. Seuss books. My kids felt so cozy it was hard to get them to leave the cabin! At one point we tinkered around with the fireplace before we read the directions and inadvertently knocked out the pilot light. They came immediately and fixed the problem even though it was in the evening after business hours. While a bit far from the valley, it is close to the Mariposa grove and hikes by the Wawona. We will be back!
