Stora Hotellet i Fjällbacka

Good location, right in the center of Fjallbacka. Good dinner & quite good breakfast. Comfortable bed

The decoration of our room, inspired by India, was kinda ugly with bright, poorly painted yellow and purple walls and ceilings. The room was small and the bathroom huge (we ended up keeping one of our suitcases open there). The black toilet seat always looked dirty, simply from water marks I think, but still. The slippers were black rubber reusable ones ... not putting my feet in there! There was basically no light in the bathroom, just a couple of sad spotlights doing nothing, so as soon as the evening came, we couldn't see anything anymore. One morning, breakfast wasn't ready at the time it is supposed to start, there were still empty glasses & bottles on the bar, and the restaurant had clearly not been cleaned from the dinner service (table clothes not fresh, broken glass on the floor, some tables still set with the wine glasses from dinner etc.). Coffee tea station was never cleaned up, the same empty tea bag was there all 3 mornings in a row! The central location on the harbour means it gets noisy in the evening. So much potential, but overall absurdly overpriced for the quality delivered.

The receptionist was exceedingly helpful and welcoming. Loved the individual styled rooms! Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was lovely though personally a varied selection of fruit would be good.

Shame that there was no parking.

Saknade p-plats för bil

Nej Vi var inte särskilt nöjda. Dyrt för vad vi fick. Tvål och schampo saknades Trasig fönsterruta. Om man bor tre i rummet borde det finnas mer än en kaffekapsel under våra tvådagarsvistelse. Frukosten var mycket torftig. Tråkigt bröd mm vi hade förväntas oss betydligt mer på ett hotell och resturang med renommé. Restaurangen var inte heller på topp. Serveringspersonalen inte hjälpsam när det gäller allergier. Små portioner och inte den finess som vi förväntat oss

Rummet var inte helt fräscht. Förväntat oss mer i för hållande till priset. Restaurangen levde inte upp till förväntningarna.
