About this bed and breakfast

Step into our Hillside Suite ideally located in central Flagstaff. Our home is nestled in a family friendly and safe neighborhood backing a ponderosa pine forest. Our suite is located on the lower level of our home with a private external entrance. Access the suite after descending 11 stairs and walking down a short paver pathway just to the left of our home.
You have access to a designated parking space on the LEFT side of our driveway for one vehicle. **Street parking is restricted from midnight to 7am November 1 to April 1 due to our city winter ordinance.** Any other time of the year, free street parking is available 24/7.
The space is just over 500 sq. ft.
You will have access to my detailed and up-to-date guidebook! I provide instructions to navigate the suite along with lots of local suggestions ranging from local restaurants to numerous things to do and see. I update my guidebook frequently to give you the best information possible!
LIVING ROOM
Upon entering our suite, you will walk right into the open main living area and full kitchen. Relax while reading a book and sipping hot coffee or tea. Put your feet up and pop on a movie.

The living room is furnished with a sofa which can also serve as a queen size memory foam pull out bed with mattress protector. You have a Roku smart TV ready for you. It is logged in to Netflix, Hulu, Max, ESPN+, and Disney Plus. Feel free to log in to your own accounts if you need to get to your watch list! We have an antenna that picks up a few local channels but just a heads up, we do NOT have cable.
KITCHEN/DINING
You have access to an equipped full kitchen, perfect for preparing a leisurely breakfast before heading out on your adventures. Pack lunch or snacks for a hike on Mt. Humphreys. Dine or get some work done at the island countertop with 4 counter height chairs and access to fast/reliable wifi.
Kitchen items such as knives, cutting boards, pots and pans, and pyrex dishes are provided for you to make your own meals. A Keurig coffee maker is ready when you need that caffeine! We provide tea, coffee, creamer, sugar in the raw and Truvia. A maintained Brita water pitcher is provided for fresh filtered water. Available for use are a variety of cooking spices, olive oil, salt, and pepper. There is not a stock of food items besides the above-mentioned items.

Our Hillside Suite has ceiling fans and wall heaters in the living room and bedroom. All can be adjusted to your comfort level.
Flagstaff is a mountain town at 7,000 ft elevation which cools down once the sun sets, we do NOT have A/C however the fans and open windows should provide you with cool mountain air during the warmer months.
We as a family live on the main and upper floor of the home, so there will be some daily living sounds. We tend to wake up early and we do our very very best to have light feet. If you are a light sleeper and wish to sleep in, the space may not be a good fit. There is a sound machine available if needed.
BACKYARD
Our home backs the forest and our yard features natural landscaping which means some rocks, dirt/mud, boulders, and uneven terrain. At times we are outside in the yard area or working in the garage. With the natural backyard comes some critters! We often see deer, Abair squirrels, and other wildlife roaming in the back! A family of deer tend to walk down our pathway and past the bedroom window to the forest and sometimes sunbathe in the backyard. Be on the lookout if you hear some hooves!

If you don’t want to drive to a trail, you can easily access walking trails right from your door! I provide a map inside the suite.

If you have mountain bikes, snowboards, or skis, please store them outside behind our home. We have a locked shed available for boards, skis, and boots. Bikes will also fit if stored semi-upright. Dimensions are provided in our photos.

Pretty much everything is high quality and Jenn is amazing on getting back to messages, she also provides a useful house manual and lots of tips to visit places. I would stay at this place again if I ever go to Flagstaff in the future."

Our stay was lovely. It was so warm and cozy in there, there were times we didn’t even want to go outside! It was amazing there, I’d recommend to anyone going to Flagstaff.

We had an amazing time staying here!! The location was great to get to and from Snowbowl easily. The place was so clean and charming. Jenn was a wonderful host and responded to communication quickly. I feel like we found the hidden gem in Flagstaff and will definitely be back!!

My wife and I enjoyed Jenn's place and look forward to visiting again. Jenn was super friendly and helpful. She is very organized providing helpful information in the unit highlighting features in every room, as well as great restaurants, things to do in the area, etc. The place was very clean and comfortable including the bed.The kitchen was well stocked with all cabinets and drawers labeled so we could find things easily and quickly. It was a great experience and we would definitely visit again.
