About this cabin rental
God's Country Cabins is located in the heart of the Hill Country Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets.
Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.
The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies. We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!
One cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!
We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

LOCATION - 7.2 miles from downtown Fredericksburg
HOSTS - Each cabin is private, your host does live on the property in a separate home
SLEEPS - 8 total (king bed in each cabin)
BATH - Walk-in showers in each cabin
BREAKFAST - No breakfast. Coffee, tea, and snacks are left for your stay.
KITCHEN - Well-equipped kitchens with large refrigerators, microwaves, and coffeemakers

AMENITIES - Central heat/air, common outdoor patio, grill (charcoal not provided), coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, satellite television, 43" flat screen television, iron, and hairdryer.

The cabins were so nice and comfy. We rented all four to gather with friends for a long wine weekend. We liked that each couple had their own space. We really enjoyed the gazebo where we could all gather in the evening to talk and play card games. Be aware there might be spiders lurking around the cabins or other bugs you want to look out for as it is in the woods. The cabins have a few dishes and silverware, but not really cooking items as it is not needed since there is just the microwave. It really is a nice place and we would rent it again.

Despite numerous warnings about crowds and chaos in Hill Country, God’s country cabins provided a lovely private space from which to enjoy the solar eclipse. The cabins were perfect for our group of eight. We took full advantage of the grill and the gazebo for evening gatherings. The beds were comfortable and the rooster wasn’t too noisy lol. Great location for being away from it all, but close enough to head into Fredericksburg for museums, food and wine.

Our stay was awesome, so close to the venue my daughter got married at. The family need something close, for health issues. I rented all 4 unites so we wouldn't disturb other quests with our wedding clean up trips. This would be a perfect place for a small family reunion, or simply get away from everyday life. Definitely 5 stars!

We reserved all 4 cabins for my dad's birthday. Love that each couple gets their own space/cabin & can still gather together for meals times & enjoy each other's company. When we entered the cabin we felt very comfortable and welcomed. The heater was set perfectly since it was very cold outside, soft music playing, & of course amazing fresh baked cookies on the counter ☺️
