It had stunning bay views and the hostess, Catherine, was very helpful and friendly. Extremely well positioned, only a couple of minutes drive from the town centre. The room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely, large shower enclosure. Sachets of tea, coffee and sugar were provided as well as a kettle. A nice touch was a little box of chocolates on arrival as well as a mini fridge stocked with different milks and a few cans of flavoured sparkling water. Perfectly suited for my short stay of 4 nights.
The very steep driveway prevented me from walking into town instead of driving. I was fearful of slipping/falling when walking down the driveway as there is nothing to hold onto. A microwave was situated outside in the open little undercover area and, because of the inclement winter weather, I found it too cold to go outside and use it. Fine for warmer weather ‘though.

Excellent location, close to the town centre and offering beautiful views.
The railway was very close and could disturb sleep in the early hours of the morning.
