Location:
Chillin Time is located next to a picturesque mountain valley horse pasture that borders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Bryson City, NC. This cabin is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from downtown Bryson City. Enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and breweries of this charming mountain town, or stop by and check out the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad train depot, all located in Bryson City. The Deep Creek entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also located just outside of Bryson City, packed with great hiking trails, 3 beautiful waterfalls, and during the Spring and Summer months, excellent tubing! The Harrahs Casino, Oconaluftee River hiking trails & tubing, the popular Mingo & Soco waterfalls, and the Sequoyah National Golf Course are all located about 15 minutes away in Cherokee, NC. You can also reach the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake for some great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing options in about 20-25 minutes, Or you can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting, zip lining, and other adventurous excursions out in the Nantahala Gorge located 30 minutes away.
Access road:
Cars and Most All vehicles- Paved and hard packed gravel sections on a well maintained mountain road, Switchbacks and moderate to steep incline sections possible, no washed out section. The roads to this cabin are not considered 'Motorcycle Friendly'.
Exterior:
Chillin Time is a newly constructed multi-level mountain cabin. It has a wide flat gravel driveway with ample space for parking. You can easily access the side deck from the parking area of this cabin, where you will find a relaxing hot tub and a gas grill awaiting your arrival to cook your favorite meals. The back yard steeply descends into the Smoky Mountain forest that surrounds this cabin. The private secluded back deck is where most guests' spend the majority of their outdoor time. Here you can warm up by the wood burning fireplace or just chill out in a rocking chair as you enjoy the fresh mountain air. The view's here are forested and overlook the scenic horse pastures that sit below this cabin.
Entry level:
The high ceilings and abundant windows creates a spacious environment that is perfect for a memorable vacation. On the entry level, the living room sits adjoining the kitchen and is furnished with plenty of comfortable seating that is perfectly arranged for ample relaxation as you overlook the gas log fireplace and flat screen TV. The adjacent kitchen is fully stocked and provides you with all the cooking conveniences of home. You will also find the master bedroom on the entry level of this cabin, outfitted with a king size bed, flat screen TV, and a private entry way that leads onto the deck to quickly and conveniently access the hot tub from this bedroom. There is an adjoining private master bathroom with a standing shower and spacious walk in closet in the master bedroom as well.
Loft:
This cabin has a wonderful loft that is outfitted as a quite work space. Sit and read a book, or catch up on some work that just can't wait.
Lower level:
The lower level is where you will find the second bedroom furnished with a queen size bed, the shared bathroom for the floor, and the parlor room. The parlor room is outfitted with more comfortable seating for you to lounge around and enjoy watching the flat screen TV. There is also a card table that sits central to this room for your gaming pleasure. You can conveniently access the laundry room with washer and dryer on this lower level.

The cabin itself was very clean! We stayed a month and opted for mid stay cleans and the cleaning staff was delightful. Communication with the host was good and the team was friendly. The only “mark” I’d give this listing is that the view is very limited in summer - for what we paid and based on listing pictures we thought it would be better. Overall tho, great stay.

Beautiful comfortable cabin and good location. All appliances and amenities in working order. Clean orderly cabin, however it needed to be dusted. Management needs to look at replacing light bulbs throughout that are burned out. You also are expected to go through cabin and mark down anything wrong so you aren’t charged. I found this to be daunting and called several times with things I found. Understand why this is a policy but have never had to do anything like this with other vrbo rentals. Would definitely stay here again.
