About this house rental
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Sardonne, Claudine's cottage offers the elusive charm of the small, warm stone setting typical of Oisans. This 17th century house will be the ideal cocoon for your holidays with family or friends. The hamlet of Sardonne is located a 10-minute drive from the Grand Domaine de l'Alpe d'Huez. The accommodation and its sunny garden offer all the necessary equipment for a relaxing stay.
Housing:
Cozy and airy, this typically mountain house has belonged to the Claudine family since 1664! It was with great love that she completely renovated her house in the early 2000s to offer it to travelers. The rental part (private and independent) of 120 m2 with kitchen, large living room, 3 bedrooms (upstairs) and 2 bathrooms, will delight you for your winter ski holidays or for your stays in summer. Garden furniture, barbecue, the garden and its terrace offer all the comfort for a moment of peaceful reading out of sight or a moment of conviviality.
The gîte is provided for 6 adults, however 8 beds are possible:
- BEDROOM 1 is composed of a double bed and a single bed (on request)
- BEDROOM 2 is composed of 2 single beds
- BEDROOM 3 (in wood on the photo) consists of a comfortable bed for 1 adult or 2 small children.
Finally, the library area (located upstairs) offers a sofa that can be converted into a bed.
You will find a bathroom on the ground floor with bath and W.C, as well as a second bathroom upstairs composed of a shower and a W.C.
Oil heating is included in the price. It is not possible to make a fire in the old stove.
The cottage is exposed West and the South / West garden.
Access for travelers:
You will have access to the entire rental part of the gîte, entirely independent (ground floor + 1st floor) Claudine will welcome you on arrival and will be available to answer your questions about your stay. Free parking on site.
Other remarks:
> For cyclists, access to a secure bicycle room. For skiers, space provided in the living room of the gîte.
> Free parking is available in front of the cottage.
> The cleaning must be done when you leave the cottage. If you do not wish to do the cleaning, it is possible to pay a cleaning fee of 70 € on your arrival
> Make sure you have read the advertisement concerning the number of beds and their descriptions as well as the precise location of the hamlet of Sardonne (car essential to go to the ski resort of Oz)

Sardonne is an authentic village, part of the heritage of Oisans. It is an ideal place to find peace and serenity, on the edge of a spruce forest, with a view of the Belledonne range.
This hamlet is located in the commune of Oz en Oisans (Isère), a resort linked to the Grand Domaine Ski de l'Alpe d'Huez. A car is essential to reach the start of the slopes, located 10 minutes away. You will find all the services in the station of Oz (sale of ski passes, rental companies, restaurants, bars, activities for children and families, etc.). Free parking on site.
It is also possible to go to the resort / village of Villard Reculas (15 minutes by car), connected to the Alpe d'Huez (sale of ski pass, rental, restaurant, bar on site). Free covered parking on site. Possibility of guarding skis on site at the rental company.
Move:
There is no public transport going to Sardonne. However you can go to Rochetaillé (8 minutes by car) or Oz (10 minutes) by public transport.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la neige, et même avec beaucoup de neige (prévoir des équipements pour la voiture), dans une maison de village de montagne, au calme et au milieu des chemins de randonnée. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce nouvel an.

In tijden van Corona mocht het wel iets netter zijn in de woning. Dit laat niet uit dat het een aangenaam huisje was. Zeer leuk om het kleine tuintje te hebben met het goede weer. Kort maar goed ontvangen door een vriendelijke huisvrouw
