About this house rental

Discover this beautiful air-conditioned holiday home with private pool, located on the outskirts of the pretty village of Olonzac, 1 km from the banks of the Canal du Midi. It is ideal for families or friends. Located between the village and the vineyards, this very modern loft is in a beautifully restored former barn. The thick stone walls keep it cool indoors and the refined decoration is admirable. Olonzac, the capital of Minervois, is a very pretty village located on the edge of the Aude department, between the Canal du Midi and the village of Minerve, about 30 km from Narbonne and Carcassonne with its medieval centre. The region offers delicious wines and nice places with narrow streets and cosy terraces. Hire a boat for a trip on the Canal du Midi or have a picnic at Lake Jouarrès, 7 km away. The residence is just half an hour from the Mediterranean beaches and an hour from the Spanish border. In the bright living room, the fireplace, which seems to float in space, points to the steel staircase. The back wall is glass and opens to the terrace and the beautiful swimming pool with counter-current. A unique location and an exceptional house: in short, highly recommended!

Our stay at the holiday home near the Canal du Midi was simply delightful! The modern loft, nestled between the charming village of Olonzac and the vineyards, was a perfect escape for our family, The spacious design allowed everyone to relax, and the air conditioning was a much-appreciated feature during the hot summer days, We spent countless hours by the private pool, which was a great spot for the kids to have fun while the adults enjoyed a barbecue on the terrace, The nearby Canal du Midi offered lovely walks, and we even rented a boat for a day, which was a highlight! The decor of the home was stylish and tasteful, making it feel both inviting and luxurious, Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

Prachtige loft. Heel ruim opgezet en erg kunstzinnig ingericht. Keuken is erg goed geoutilleerd. Beide slaapkamers hebben een aparte airco, erg fijn in een hete zomer. En beide slaapkamers hebben hun eigen privé wc en een aparte douche in de slaapkamer. Patio is klein maar fijn met een fris zwembad. Patio kan goed met een zwevende parasol beschut worden. Parkeren in de straat zelf is mogelijk, het is wel een krappe straat. We hebben met de buren overlegd waar we de auto het beste konden neerzetten. Enig minpuntje was: bij vertrek wilden we het afval weggooien en daar hadden we een pas voor nodig, maar die zijn we niet tegen gekomen. We konden het afval pas in een container in Homps kwijt.

Das Loft war super. Toller kleiner, verschlafener Ort (Markt am Dienstag nicht verpassen). Interessante Umgebung (Carcassonne, Menerve, Narbonne, Montpellier, Mittelmeer). Der wunderschöne Pool hatte bei bis zu heißen 40°C Außentemparatur konstante, abkühlende 24 Grad. Man hat in der oberen Etage drei unabhängig einstellbare Klimaanlagen, im Haus verteilt drei Duschen und drei Toiletten. Die Küche bietet fast Alles, was man benötigt (es gibt leider nur eine Siebträger-Kaffeemaschine). Auch das Haus hat eine sonstige super Ausstattung (Spülmaschine, 2 Kühlschränke [einen haben wir ausschließlich für Getränke genutzt], ein Gefrierschrank, Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, Bügeleisen mit Bügelbrett, Glaskeramikherd und Backofen, Dunstabzugshaube, Smart-TV mit Netflix [eigene Zugangsdaten notwendig], kostenlosem W-LAN, privatem Pool). Der Kontakt mit der Besitzerin und der zuständigen Person vor Ort war problemlos, sehr freundlich und super schnell (per WhatsApp und E-Mail). Vielen Dank! Dies war ein traumhafter Urlaub!

Goede aanwijzingen voor check in. Mooie vakantiewoning. Wel niet verwarmd zwembad. Temperatuur was op randje bij onze aankomst in hoogzomer. Was tussen de 23 a 24 graden bij onze aankomst. Op het einde van een superwarme week 25,5 graden.
