Līčupes

Located in the most beautiful countryside. The house is very cosy, spacious and spotlessly clean. A very well equipped kitchen, also has a dishwasher. Bed linen and towels were provided. Great sauna. It also has a little playground and trampoline for children. The owners were very helpful with the few queries we had. Overall a great place. Only 5 minutes drive to the nearest town, it has shops, petrol station, and restaurants. Also has plenty of things to do nearby, a petting zoo for children, and lovely parks and places for sight seeing.

Everything was lovely, the only suggestion that I have is that it would be great if there would have been a washing machine. We stayed there for 3 nights and could have done with a washing machine.

Jauki un atsaucīgi saimnieki, skaista klusa vieta. Viss tīrs un gaumīgi iekārtots.

We were an international group of 9 adults and 5 kids. The house is wonderful, beautiful and clean! Kitchen was fully equipped. The nice host came to fix our small electrical issue immediately when we noticed a problem. What we found very impressive also was that when there was a power outage in the entire region due to heavy rain, he was prepared and put on his private generator so we had electricity for the house. We ate every evening on the big terrace and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Kids and adults liked the big yard and playgrounds, football goals etc. very much.

Warm water has sometimes a sulfuric odour to it, but it seems to be typical to the region, so we did not mind it too much and used mostly cold water, which is anyway better for the environment.
