About this house rental
This unit is the perfect size and offers all the amenities that you need to feel right at home. This is for the budget conscious traveler. The unit has some wear here and there, but it is functional and a great place to cook, sleep and shower after a long day of exploring Alaska! The unit is always professionally cleaned between guests using the CDC COVID guidelines. Heath and safety is important so please do not remove mattress or pillow protectors during your stay.
The unit is located in a diverse residential and commercial neighborhood in Anchorage known as Mt. View. It is a 10 minute drive to downtown, 5 minutes to the highway, 5 minutes to JBER AF Base and close to the Boniface Gate. This unit is the perfect place to explore Anchorage and Alaska from! It is one half of a duplex. Long term tenants and pets occupy the other side.
The unit is approximately 750 square feet, two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen has full size appliances and a dishwasher, the unit also has a washer and dryer. All three tvs are smart tvs and require your own streaming accounts. The unit comes with unlimited high-speed internet through GCI. Free channels are also available on the tvs.

I've lived in Anchorage since 2008 and love to explore on the weekends. I offer guided tours of the Alaska Botanical Garden and I have an 8 seater Subaru Ascent on Turo. If you are interested in either of those items please don't hesitate to ask.

This property gave us everything we needed to explore Alaska and more. Check in and WiFi connection was a breeze thanks to a super responsive host instructions. The kitchen had every possible item needed for making complete meals if wanted. The bedrooms have great beds in them; loads of hangers and drawer space..although having the large capacity washer and dryer , I could have halved my suitcase load. Nice touches like boot trays for hikers or snow gear; a large filtering water jug in the fridge and more. If we could have brought the shower back home with us, we would have! Great pressure, various spray options and loads of towels. The host was very responsive in answering questions about places to see and try. Offering her knowledge and experience without any pressure, a wonderful level of personable and professionalism. We would love to go back and see more of Alaska, with more family in tow. I'll rent this apartment without any reservations. The neighborhood is eclectic but we had no problem with parking or folks. Close enough to downtown without having to be there all the time, which is our preference. You will need a car for exploring...which we already knew and planned for accordingly.
