Whether you’re hitting the slopes at Wisp Resort, enjoying year-round fun, or exploring the charming town of Oakland with its golf course, museums, restaurants, and shops, everything you need for a perfect getaway is close by.

There is a 13 night limit on reservations per local regulations. Reservations over 13 nights are prohibited and cannot be honored.
WiFi is provided, however, you'll have to use WiFi calling in order to have cell service at the home.
Firewood is not provided.
Per HOA restrictions, no alcohol is permitted on the community dock.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great cabin. Would rent again in the future if going to Deep Creek Lake.
Weather did unfortunately not cooperate, so could not take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit, though both looked lovely. Lots of towels and bedding/pillows. WiFi worked and plenty of TV’s. Comfortable beds.
The only negative was that the water pressure in the main floor bathroom was so slow that it was almost unusable (upstairs and downstairs as well as kitchen was fine). Should be easy to adjust by property owner.

PROS: Beautiful house with LOTS of space. Close to the lake as well. Owners provided some supplies to help get started (trash bags, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper) which was a great help. The hot tub was really nice as well. All beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of bath towels as well (bring your own lake towels)
CONS: Would have been nice to have to have instruction for how to get to the lake with their "3 minute walk" (It is down a short walk down the road the house sits on, onto the main road down past a house. Confusing because there is a wooded lot straight in front of the side road that we initially thought we needed to do but still not bad walk, just a lot of stairs so not handicap assess-able) a few remotes did not have batteries, Washer leaked, only one burner on the grill worked, the leaving instructions in the book were not the same that were emailed to us so we ended up having to go back after we left to strip the beds.
If I had an option of giving a 4.5 review I would!

Two families (four adults and four kids) stayed at this house, and there was plenty of room. House was very clean and well stocked. Hot tub was nice and clean, and was a huge hit. Location was terrific - surrounded by trees and felt private, but a short drive to the slopes. Would definitely stay here again. One note of caution - the listing is serious when it says you need 4WD in the winter. It is a steep, small road to access the house.
