About this apartment rental
Recently updated! This is our direct ocean front three bedroom / two bath flat. You enter on the first floor and won't need to worry about climbing stairs. This makes your stay more convenient without the need to carry beach equipment up and down stairs. The unit has enough to sleep seven. It is furnished with a king in the master suite, king in second room, Twin bunkbeds with single twin in our third bedroom (additional chairs in closet). Does not accept reservations for less than a week. Tile floors throughout which makes it cool for summer and easy clean up from sand. At Summerhouse we have 4 temperature regulated pools to choose from on property making it comfortable to swim all year round! There are also four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and one pickleball court. We have two grilling areas and two playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. Our common area around the pools are covered with luscious well-maintained grass with a short walk to the beach. Our rental unit has a friendly front office staff and maintenance on site to help resolve any problem quickly if they should arise. We have a small library and a gym available during normal business hours for your convenience.

We had a good experience other than finding a snake in my husbands shoe after he took it off and left them in the bedroom for about an hour and our two year old grandson went to put his foot in them and said “ewe”. Yep, there was the snake sitting there looking out at us!!! Needless to say, I did not sleep that night waiting for his siblings and mom to show up next. The home itself was good except the bed in first bedroom is SO hard that it felt the same as sleeping on the floor. The keys that we were given were very hard to unlock the door with and we learned that you had to continually wiggle it until it would finally open. (It took about 7 to 10 wiggles) We did like the convenience of the end unit of course. I’m not sure that we would rent that unit again though.

We always enjoy being at Summerhouse and we have rented this same unit for a number of years. Can’t beat the location and view..this year we had some nice updates like new paint and some new furniture. However, the bathrooms and kitchen are dated. Maybe that’s coming in the future?
