Welcome to the very latest and newest addition to the luxury Loch Lomond self catering experience, set in 6 acres of private gardens controlled by electric gates.

Number 4 Lomond Castle is a ground floor one bedroom apartment, it has a super king bed and sofa bed in the lounge, it has been totally refurbished to a high spec, everything is new and includes under floor heating, quality oak furniture, quality bed linen, luxury towels, and soft furnishings. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also provided.

Fully fitted kitchen with all cutlery, crockery, glassware, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer.

LED televisions in both rooms, play station 3 with DVD, free Wi-Fi . Bedroom has writing desk and chair. Outside patio has table and chairs overlooking the Loch Lomond.

We travelled with our LB who loved staying in a castle and going through the castle gates. The accommodation was high quality with spectacular views. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and could walk along the road to Duck Bay. We had a lovely welcome pack, comfy bed, entertainment facilities and support for any questions. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed staying at No4 Lomond Castle. It’s spacious, has brilliant views and access to the water and is well appointed with all the amenities you’ll need for a multi-night stay. Local services are a short drive away and parking in town is easy. The rooms are very luxurious with high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and doors. The fridge came stocked with some welcome items, bread, butter, milk, spreads and a bottle of Prosecco! We’re Australian and unfamiliar with some of the European features and appliances, like underfloor heating and washer/dryer combos. It took a day to figure out how to set the under floor heating up from the default 18 degrees setting and we had a chilly first night and morning in the room. I searched for information / manuals in the room but could not find what was needed. Some labelling / info would be helpful. The washer was tricky to work out too. Again some info would help. Last one… Aussies love ice in their drinks. The freezer seriously needs defrosting as you can’t pull out the drawers. I did a partial defrost of one shelf on our first morning so I could make some ice to put in the champagne bucket and keep a bottle cool. As is often the case, the ice tray was all but empty. I left it full. Despite this we made our way around it and had a lovely stay. We were the envy of our family who’d booked elsewhere for the wedding.

When we drove up to no4 lomond castle we knew instantly we made a good choice,walked through the door with a wow,views to die for right beside the Loch,apartment was stunning,clean,and comfortable,with patio doors that looked straight onto the loch,loved our stay didn't want to leave and will definately be booking again

The property was absolutely breathtaking with a direct view of the lake and a secret pathway to the lake. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped as well. Location was very strategic as not too far from Balloch and Luss where most of the attractions are.

The views from apartment were truly stunning. Excellent privacy and a private area at the bottom of the gardens enabled us to go for a swim in the loch while remaining within the grounds of the apartment. Tastefully decorated and all the little extras you need for a short stay. Instructions left for all electricals which helped. Will definitely return sometime and may try one of the other apartments

I used to live on Lomond castle estate status plus years ago In the front lodge my parents worked there so this was very emotional for me as my parents ashes were scattered on the loch from the jetty there ... the apartment was the ideal place for us wish we had booked longer The staff were wonderful so helpful.. the flat was very comfortable had everything we needed. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends ...

It was a really comfortable stay and a very well appointed apartment with wonderful views of the Loch Our only minor complaint is that it was a bit cold as the underfloor heating was not turned on when we arrived on the Thursday. A phone call on the Saturday sorted that but the bedroom remained cold throughout our time but an extra fan heater was provided for the bedroom Would definitely book again

Beautiful location on the banks of Loch Lomond. Wonderful views. Disappointed that the outside patio table was broken so made it difficult to eat outside. I made contact but was told it had been broken for a few weeks and that was that. Please be aware that there is a wedding venue to the side of the property so maybe a lot of the accommodation is used by wedding guests. I would not have booked this location if I had known this. Main door into accommodation had a smashed in window. Also recycling and rubbish area was a mess

From the moment we booked to check out we were well looked after. Liz was very helpful providing instructions needed to check in and out, very friendly! The apartment itself was lovely but the view was unbeatable! Bed was super comfy and they provided a travel cot for our little one too. We stayed at no 4 lomand castle as part of a birthday party. Could not fault apartment it was so comfortable beautifully decorated gorgeous finishes Kitchen was perfect with everything you need great welcome pack . Bedroom was huge with a gorgeous view out the window in morning .We felt it can be a bit cold at night but once we had the small heater was on it was really cosy .We have been to a few auchenheglish lodges and love them all .Wendy and her team keep them spotless we will keep coming back great value for money and the best views ever

Overall - stylish, clean and modern, equipped with pretty much everything you might need. Bed comfy but firm. Sofa was big and fairly comfy, other lounge seating provided seemed more for ‘occasional’ use (but just the two of us so that didn’t matter). Although it didn’t necessarily detract from our experience, there were some signs of wear and tear in bathroom (toilet flush, cracked bath side tiles and shower floor) and bedroom (window sash stays broken). The light in the hallway outside our door was out so it was a bit hard to find the keyhole. But it’s a beautiful apartment with the most fantastic views over Loch Lomond. Nice to be able to sit outside and admire the view, although the road noise from the A82 is quite noticeable at busy times. However the location on that slightly noisy road is brilliant - easy access to the surrounding area and beyond. The welcome instructions were clear and comprehensive, and the one query we had during our stay was promptly answered. We would definitely stay again.

We had the best days in Scotland and we tried 5 differents locación around the country. Loch Lomond Castle has been without any doubt the best place we have stayed. I have to point that staying in an historic building, do not necessary means to find old furtinures and bad conditions building structures as others. Loch Lomomd Castle is absolutly renew with everything you need and will definetly recommend this place and its view, lovely!

We were slightly hesitant staying here as the apartment seemed to look slightly 'dark' in the photos. We were pleasantly surprised to find huge windows both in the lounge area and the bedroom which overlooked the loch and had spectacular views. The apartment was ideal for my wife and I. It felt truly separate from the surrounding log cabins. It was clean and had an exceptionally comfortable bed with a feeling of luxury. We took our paddle boards down tot the lake one evening and took a stroll down to the Duck Bay hotel which had reasonably priced meals overlooking the bay. We would definitely stay here again

What a stunning location! Very short walk down to the Loch with some stunning views and we were lucky enough to have amazing weather too! The apartment itself is lovely but I was rather disappointed we did not have any toilet roll, there was not even a toilet roll holder so I’m unsure if this is just standard. The fridge was generously stocked with orange juice, milk and wine so perhaps the toilet roll was an oversight. Also did not have basic toiletries like hand soap (there was in the kitchen however) or shower gel or shampoo. Again maybe this was an oversight or maybe they’re just not provided but for the money we paid I kinda expected the basics. Overall a wonderful stay!

We stayed here for 1 week, very clean and tidy, thre location is excellent about 3 miles from Balloch - you can walk takes about 1 hour. Excellent location for other villages Luss and Tarbet are lovely. The only critisism is we couldnt use the outdoor furniture as it was very dirty, good job we took our own chairs. I would stop here again and wont hesitate to recommend to anybody else

We loved our stay, the moment we walked in, we went wow, set up, decor, view, the little touches with milk, bread, wine etc were amazing. Friendly staff, very clean and great location would definitely stay again. The only thing I would be negative about was the bed, it was broken, the base and the mattress you were high up one side and in a hole on the other but the bedding was great. I would recommend getting a new bed sorted, and no toilet paper, but saying that a 10/10 Just stunning x

Great location right on the Loch, and such a great property - modern inside with everything you need. The only slight disappointments were in the bathroom as the shower head, bath taps, and bath spout were all loose/hanging off the wall, and the bed although very comfy had an annoying squeak on the base. However those niggles aside, we had a great stay here and will definitely be back. The kitchen and living area all had modern appliances, and furniture. The welcome pack of milk, bread, wine etc was an added bonus (although the bread had a best before date of the same day we arrived!)

This accommodation is outstanding, with everything from the quality of the bathroom to the view - and what a view! - being first class. The apartment was very clean, well set out, well equipped (there was a surprise welcome bottle of wine in the fridge) and a great location for exploring the Loch and it’s surroundings.

This property is all you could ask for in location, comfort, cleanliness and amenities. The apartment is spacious, and comes fully equipped with everything you need. I had the best sleep I've had in years. The view of the Loch are spectacular. We stayed in several hotels during our trip, but this will always be our favorite and most memorable

The living area was attractive and well maintained. Interior temperature worked out fine using the small heater provided. Was glad we stayed here for the start of our vacation. The only drawback was some noise from kids stomping around in the unit above. Also, was surprised that we never saw any staff member during our entire stay. We arrived tired after our flight from USA, and were glad that our taxi driver was very familiar with the process of obtaining and using our guest keys. Expected somebody on staff would be present at hours when guests might typically arrive to check in.
